Sam’s story began with a dream . He wanted to put his years of experience to work for a brand he loved.

Meet Sam

Sam wasn't just any stylist; he was the kind of talent that had worked with major, luxury brands—the sort you’d drool over but might need to sell an organ to afford (cough: Balenciaga: cough).

He wanted to move in-house with a company that he could really get excited about, so we met up for 5 sessions to help him identify, apply, and land a dream role.

Spoiler alert: He got it.

  • Mock interviews and wine? Well, call our approach unconventional, but that’s exactly what Sam needed. Sometimes, when we’re at the crossroads, we got to loosen up a bit, so that’s what we did. We got cozy, sketched out the plan, uncovered his passion projects and talked about the parts of styling that got him really excited. Then we wrote down the previous tasks he would rather leave behind. The session had one goal: dream big. plan later.

  • Next, we played detective. What was Sam ridiculously good at? We sifted through his extensive portfolio, identified his superpowers (hello, impeccable eye for detail and trendsetting vision!), and highlighted the unique flair that set him apart from the rest.

  • Styling director? Head of Design? Museum Curator? We looked at potential roles, salary bands, and opportunities across avant-garde fashion houses to new startups, and identified the one that shone like an uncovered gem.

  • We transformed his little black dress of a cover letter into a red-carpet stunner and gave him an updated CV to boot. Badabing badabalenciaga.

  • We fined tuned Sam’s approach, history, and story and aligned it with the job description, so when the time came, Sam nailed his interview. We didn’t expect anything less.

The happy ending

But our journey didn’t stop there. We followed up, provided support during the nerve-wracking wait, and celebrated when Sam landed not just any job, but his dream job. For real, y’all. We’re talking major styling director at a major fashion label.
